Elizabeth Munro discovered some seven years ago that clay is the perfect medium for her to express her artistic and creative nature. Since then, she has devoted her life to using the endless possibilities of pottery and porcelain to create beautiful yet functional works of art. Her handmade pottery and handmade tiles are the perfect vehicles to allow her to explore her love of drawing, painting, sculpting and even playing in the mud and getting dirty.

Largely self-taught, Elizabeth has continually evolved as an artist. From her early days of trying to center a lump of red clay on a second hand wheel, she now creates high quality functional works of art of handmade porcelain. From handmade tiles to thrown dinnerware and teapots, Elizabeth’s work is always designed to be both beautiful and useful. Functionality does not have to preclude colour and design.
